This driver delivers the ultimate in versatility because it allows you to have all of the most popular mode configurations in your light—all at once—without opening up the light! About the ItemsThis sale includes: (1) New 17mm 22-Mode Group Flashlight Driver w/ spring and silicone pre-tinned leads already installed. ***SHIPPING DISCOUNT ON MULTIPLE QUANTITY*** Add to cart to receive the combined discount. This is my favorite driver for single lithium cell lights. It is based off of the super-reliable Nanjg 105C, but has been flashed with custom firmware and uses higher current binned 380mA 7135 chips. I believe that it is the most versatile 17mm driver out there. It is highly configurable with 22 user selectable mode groups that can be changed without opening up the flashlight (see below for instructions). This driver also includes a user programmable turbo timer that will automatically lower the light output from the highest level to 50% output at a user set interval to reduce the chance of overheating. It will work well with any 3V LED, such as the XM-L2, XP-G2, or XP-E2. This is a constant current driver and is available in output currents ranging from 0.76A up to 3.04A. Maximum Recommended Output Current LevelsThe recommended output current depends on the LED used, the type of MCPCB that LED is mounted on, and how good the host heat sinking is. Non-Direct-Thermal-Path MCPCB (usually aluminum)XM-L/XM-L2: 3.04AXP-G/XP-G2: 1.9AXP-E/XP-E2: 1.14ADirect-Thermal-Path MCPCB (usually copper, but not all copper MCPCBs are direct-thermal-path)XM-L/XM-L2: 3.04AXP-G/XP-G2: 3.04AXP-E/XP-E2: 1.9ASpecifications:Diameter: 17mmOverall Thickness: 4.7mm (with components)Input Voltage: 2.8-4.5 volts-Reverse polarity protection-Gold plated spring and contacts-Memory is user selectable depending on mode group-No visible flicker -Tinned silicone leads already installed-Low voltage protection. With the light in programming mode, tap the switch the same number of times as your desired mode group. The light will blink and your mode group will be memorized. Example: To select mode group 3, tap the switch 8 times quickly to enter programming mode. As soon as the light enters programming mode and starts flashing, tap the switch three times (for group 3). The light will blink to recognize the mode group change. To set the turbo timer: rapidly tap the switch 8 times, the light will then enter the programming mode and begin to flash. With the light in programming mode, tap the switch 30 times to enter the turbo timer set mode. The light will then switch to 100% power. When the light is at the desired temperature for the turbo step down, turn the light off. The turbo timer will then be set. The turbo timer reduces the output from the highest level down to 50% output at the desired set interval. To lock the mode groups: Solder Star 2 to ground.
