Up for sale is a stunning 1979 Lincoln Mark V Turquoise Edition. This gorgeous car has only 29,190 actual miles on it. The paint, vinyl top and interior are as they came from the factory. It has never been damaged or repaired. There are some rock chips on the front end from the 8000 miles my wife and I have put on this car in taking it to car shows and participating in vintage automobile touring events. Other than that, there is literally not a scratch or ding on this car. Watch the video and see for yourself. All the power accessories work properly (except for the clock) and the headlight doors open and close properly. The a/c blows very cold. When I purchased this car, I had all the fluids changed and it has received proper maintenance since. The tires are Diamondback radials and have less than 1000 miles on them. I had trouble with the car vapor locking, so I replaced the carb with FiTech fuel injection and added a high-pressure fuel pump. It works perfectly and there are no choke or carb adjustments necessary. A key fob was added for remote door locking and unlocking. A custom silk car cover is also included. This is no doubt one of the finest 1979 Mark Vs in existence, and the rare Turqouise Edition package makes it one of the most beautiful and unusual as well. I will include the framed Marti report which certifies this car as a one-of-one. This is a turn-key car which is ready for your enjoyment. I have owned this car for 8 years and it is my personal car, I am not a dealer. This is the story of the car as it was told to me by the gentleman I purchased it from. The gentleman that bought the car new bought it because it was the last year of the big Mark series. But it was too big for him, and he seldom drove it. He passed away. His wife didn’t want to drive the car, but she didn’t want to sell it, either, for sentimental reasons. However, she did have the Lincoln dealer get the car once a year to change the oil and wash and wax it. When she passed away, the daughter received the car. The didn’t want to drive it or keep it, and this is when the gentleman I bought the car from entered the picture. He bought the car from her with 14,000 miles on it. He kept the car until 21,000 miles, when he moved to a different house and found the garage was not large enough for the Lincoln. I then bought it from him at 21,000 miles.
