eBay This listing is for ONE of the aftermarket wood grips for a S&W K-Frame with square butt. I have a few of these sets, all NOS condition, the last set will not have anything other than the grips and screw included, all the ones before that are still in their original packaging, inside another 4 mil zip top envelope. These are unbranded, but since they are marked “Made in Italy”, I am pretty sure they were made by Sile. The wood is a nice looking wood, walnut according to the Mil #, and is fairly dark and rich looking. The original packaging for this has a US GI (government issue) numbers as you can see in pic # 2. The medallions are obviously not the regular S&W’s, rather a standing bird of some sort with its wings outstretched. Comes with its attaching screw and fits decently, but not perfect as the back strap sits a little proud from the grips, although the gun I test fitted them on is from about 1917 and has been modified on the back strap, so the later guns these were contracted for may fit just a bit better. Also, the locating holes that go over the grip pin at the butt are very tight, so I recommend you push the grip on the pin with the grip facing down and rotate it back and forth a few times to “seat in” the pin for a little clearance. Also, if you are unsure how to install any gun part, you should find a competent professional gunsmith as each part may require experienced massaging to fit and work as intended, i.e. timing, etc. Please confirm by way of all the pics to determine if this is the part you need or want and if you are not sure ask questions and do research as I do not accept returns.
