Custom Kydex Sheath made for the ONTARIO SPEC PLUS SP1-95 Marine Knife PANCAKE STYLE, The “Pancake Style” Sheath has two rows of eyelets. One on the spine side of the blade and one row along the edge side. The extra row of eyelets allows more attachment space to mount accessories and even extra mounting points such as two Molle-Loks so the sheath can be mounted to a molle webbed pack, vest, ect…by having two rows to mount to a pack allows the rig to mount flat and secured by both sides and NOT flopping with a loose side unsecured. Users even Lash the sheath down by paracord with Excellent results! These are just a couple of examples of MANY COMBINATIONS that are possible and regularly used. Users regularly change up the attachments depending on what they plan to do. They might want to carry scout, vertically, inverted on a shoulder strap, on their backpack, maybe on their tactical vest, ect……With ONE SHEATH you have MANY OPTIONS! The thick .093 kydex creates a Stiff Hard Case around the Blade that is Not easily twisted or bent easily or even collapsing onto the blade as easily as with using .080 or even worse, .060 Thick (or should I say “thin” kydex) The thicker Kydex also provides retention that holds the knife securely allowing Inverted or Scout carry without worry of the easily flexible thin kydex that could possibly cause accidental deployment of YOUR KNIFE! ADJUSTABLE ” J-CLIP ” BELT ATTACHMENT, that is easy to clip to your belt and removable without taking your belt off! The hook at the bottom will prevent pulling the entire rig off your belt. This belt attachment is very secure and sturdy for hard use! Made with .125 THICK Kydex Excellent Retention that HOLDS!!! LONG BARREL EYELETS, The reason I upgrade the eyelets to a longer barrel is to create a nicer looking Sheath AND a STRONGER ASSEMBLY! If you flip the sheath over, you will notice the eyelet having a thicker rolled flange. You Would NOT get this from the “standard recommended” length eyelet! With the Standard length eyelets, you will notice a VERY THIN Flange that is barely rolled and very obvious that its the “back” of the sheath! I Obviously like to OVER BUILD my Sheath and create HIGHLY DURABLE Sheaths built to last a few lifetimes and Handle whatever Life can throw at it! EXCELLENT RETENTION, The retention is firm and will allow mounting the sheath in Scout (Horizontal) Carry AND Inverted (upside-down) Carry! Edge is seamless and matte finished. Eyelets spaced 3/4″ apart to accept Aftermarket Attachments such as Tek-Lok, Molle-Loks, DOTS Belt Clips, Malice Clips, Ect… AMBIDEXTROUS, Sheath can be worn ANY position You want using the proper Attachments.
