Six (6) Timpo Last Series 7th Cavalrymen in White Gloves – with rare firing from the hip pose Original Timpo Dismounted U.S. Cavalry figures – Dealer Stock 6 swap-type figures – unpainted plasticWe have multiples of these figures, but the leg poses you receive may not be the same as in the photograph. This is due to the manufacturer’s quality control, which must have ignored or overlooked the usual base (or bases) attached to the specific poses shown. We purchased these figures direct from Timpo in the 1970s, and are selling them exactly as they were received.The photo shows the 6 figures you will receive: 1 rare standing firing carbine from the hip in kepi (although the colors in the photo are different, this figure precisely matches the other models in the range), 1 sergeant, 1 wounded in kepi hat, 1 in mid blue tunic with sword (kepi hat),1 in mid-blue tunic with sword (stetson hat), 1 wounded with pistol (stetson hat). These retired figures were produced by Timpo in England in the late 1970s. They were made in unpainted plastic, but appear to be painted as they were cast using a method (now lost) in which different colors of plastic were fused together by the manufacturer to give the models the appearance of being painted. All in new, mint condition, although the sergeant’s sword and the shooting figure’s carbine might be slightly separated from their hands.Although originally created to be swappable, we don’t recommend it, as the plastic can sometimes shear off. We pack these with great care and include instructions for assembly and disassembly.
