Whether it be the tightest control survey, high volume construction staking or a boundary survey with 3 second angular accuracy and its rugged design, the DS-103AC is suitable for use in the toughest environments. Topcon DS-103AC auto tracking total station requires no operator at total station, it locks and tracks the prism constantly enabling the immediate measurement as soon as target prism is located at any point, allowing the operator to control survey from the rover side. With the auto tracking function, time for alignment adjustment and focusing operations required on the manual total station are completely eliminated, thus increasing measurement speed and enhancing productivity of measurement work. DS-103AC offers accurate long range reflectorless measurement up to 3,280 feet, ideal for measurements to benchmarks close to the instrument or to points on the ground in archaeological survey. When using a single prism, you can measure as far as 19,000 feet at once. unitizes Xpointing technology featuring a new intelligent algorithm that automatically aims to the prism with precision by corrected angle readings. The Xpointing technology works even in dim or dark conditions where the prism is difficult to be found. Whatever the job requires and wherever operators must go, the DS103AC makes your job done easier and faster while still maintaining accuracy. Users also benefit from the auto tracking function for stake-out survey work. It is so easy and quick to find stake-out points by just following navigation on the screen of data collector without communicating with operator at the instrument or moving along with the fixed direction. Exclusive Longlink communication can be used to establish a wireless linkage with a data collector at the prism side, up to 980 feet away. Configure an economical robotic system to enable even more productive data collection.
