Vintage Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls USA Pat/App/For Baby Doll 5.5” 👶🏼 Found this and a few other Nancy Ann dolls (listed separately) at a annual community vintage sale. The sweet lady I purchased them from said she used to play with these as a child. This doll is all ceramic or porcelain, bisque, including the body. She has lots of age to her dress. These dolls were heavily played with and have lots of wear and aging. She measures approximately 5 1/2” tall. Her outfit and hair are very aged. To be expected from use and age. Her outfit seems to be complete but I’m not an expert on these dolls. The face is hand painted beautifully. Her back is stamped Story Book USA Pat/App/For. Sweet little doll. 👶🏼👶🏼 History of Storybook Dolls by Nancy Ann Nancy Ann Abbott was the creative genius behind the belovedbook Dolls. She started the Nancy Ann Storybook Doll Company in 1936 in San Francisco, California.
